We have support offices in in the heart of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, Hartlebury and also in London. The roles we offer here vary from IT, Finance, People & Development to Marketing and many more vital functions which support everyone at Blue Cross.
Our Cotswold offices are spacious, peaceful and functional. There is also the added bonus of being able to step away from your computer screen and take a walk out in the fresh air and enjoy the stunning, rolling countryside. Are you dreaming? No - this really could be your reality.
Our London offices are located right next door to our Victoria hospital, a site that we have occupied since 1906. It is believed to be the first dedicated animal hospital in the world.
Kind of roles you can expect:
Ensuring we provide the best veterinary care for pets in need is so important to us. We have three animal hospitals in London and one in Grimsby. They are equipped with the best possible facilities and treat thousands of pets every year.
Roles include vet or vet nurse with a hands on role working with pets, a receptionist booking appointments or an ambulance driver transporting our precious cargo. Every clinical role is vital in helping pets.
Kind of roles you can expect:
With over 50 shops in the UK at present, our retail teams play a valuable part in providing a high street presence and raising our profile. Just as importantly, they raise a fantastic amount of money each year. Without them we really couldn’t help as many pets as we do.
A role in our retail team could see you managing every aspect of the shop you work in. You will be responsible for deciding what stock you want to sell (donations depending), planning window displays, training volunteers, managing rotas and working to achieve targets.

Our rehoming centres and rehoming and advice units, based throughout England and Wales, find pets the loving home they deserve.
These roles are incredibly rewarding but there are also some tough times. It can be heart breaking dealing with owners who are giving up their pets, so at times our teams need to support people, as much as the pets.
