Engagement Ranger
Bakewell, Derbyshire
The Role
We are looking for an Engagement Ranger to help us deliver our objectives around access and accessibility, our Diversity Action Plan, developing our volunteer roles and engaging with visitors and local communities, overseeing a specific area of the national park. You will be based at Aldern House, Bakewell.
You will be required to work on a rota pattern with a requirement to work 50% of weekends per annum and some bank holidays.
About You
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent people skills and have a relevant degree and/or experience of countryside management, knowledge and experience of rights of way and access, working in partnerships, managing volunteers, a range of engagement experiences and practices. Please ensure you fulfil the criteria outlined in the person specification.
