The Role
We are looking for Rural Estate Casual Workers to help us undertake practical maintenance tasks on our Trails, estates and other property as required. The Workers will work with our Ranger and Maintenance Teams to maintain Authority assets.

The role will focus on the practical maintenance tasks associated with the Trails and other Authority assets, these include fencing, drystone walling, tree felling and management, grass mowing and strimming, vegetation control, surface maintenance and other property maintenance.

The role also assists with the management of the visitor facilities on the Trail and Estate sites including public toilet maintenance, car park machine first line maintenance and other property maintenance tasks.

No guaranteed hours, usually on weekdays as required by maintenance tasks

About You
It is essential that you have experience in practical countryside management tasks, health and safety knowledge and are used to working on sites where members of the public are present.

The post is based onsite at various properties owned or managed by the Peak District National Park Authority and the work will generally be undertaken outside all year round.
