The Role
We are looking for a Visitor Hub Assistant to work across our visitor hubs in Bakewell and Castleton.
The role will
• Greet the customers providing a warm welcome to all.
• Deliver a seamless customer experience, providing knowledgeable advice on our range of products.
• Help the team reach sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer service.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor and maintain visual displays to ensure an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Support Welcome Volunteers in promoting national park messages and meeting fund raising objectives.

• Good communication skills, a welcoming attitude and a love of interacting with a wide range of people.
• At your best working as part of a team.
• Able to work flexibly and adapt to different demands in a busy environment.

Working hours
The post is an annualised contract working 964.5 hours per year (equivalent to 18.5 hours per week). Working hours will include weekends and bank holidays, with more hours worked in busy periods – school holidays/bank holidays/summer.
