Landscape Architect

£32,909 to £35,411 pro rata per annum (Pay review pending*)
* We are currently waiting for agreement on our annual pay award, which will be backdated to the post start date. We are also at the initial stages of a pay review, which will increase the salary of the post, to be implemented January 2024.
The Role
We are looking for a Landscape Architect to help us deliver the National Park Authority’s landscape objectives and Landscape Strategy in the Peak District National Park. In the role you will be responsible for providing landscape advice to planning and other consultations; providing specialist landscape input to policy; inputting to Authority and partnership projects; leading on delivery of Landscape projects such as undergrounding of electricity lines; and developing and implementing the Authority’s landscape monitoring work.
About You
You will have a landscape-related qualification and a passion for environmental conservation and enhancement. You will have experience of assessing the landscape and visual impacts of planning and other land-use proposals; be able to prepare landscape briefs and specifications and supervise landscaping contracts; manage landscape-led projects; and develop innovative approaches to landscape enhancement and monitoring.
