The Role
We are looking for a Volunteering Conservation Ranger to help us delivering the volunteering practical conservation programme (Peak Park Conservation Volunteers, PPCV) In the role you will be responsible for assist in the development and delivery of a volunteers programme of conservation-related projects that create volunteer opportunities to connect with and enjoy the National Park
The post will help deliver a wide variety of volunteering opportunities (practical conservation) that targets audiences to become more engaged and connected to the National Park. The post holder will inspire a deeper connection and understanding of the importance of nature and protected landscapes and to benefit from all it can offer. The job will include 2 weekends per month working with an additional allowance paid and time in toil.
About You
You will need to be able to deliver a wide variety of practical conservation session and have experience of working with and managing volunteers.
You will have
• Qualification in Countryside Management, or significant related experience, specifically, delivery and supervision of conservation groups.
• Knowledge and experience of developing, delivering and coordinating countryside conservation volunteer groups in remote settings.
• Knowledge and experience of delivering a programme of volunteer opportunities with a diverse range of volunteering groups.
